About Us
Our Story
True Content Entertainment (formerly Sweet Chili Entertainment) is a Copenhagen-based independent production and distribution company. We produce, co-produce, aggregate, and distribute feature films, documentaries, and profiling drama series.
True Content Entertainment represents an alternative to the business-as-usual of the movie industry. We believe that it is time to unite the forces behind every great story. We believe it’s time to unite, in order to create and distribute.
Both in terms of our business model and our creative output, we therefore strive to be a leading driving force in transforming the movie industry and create better conditions for talents, creativity, and quality. Every aspect of our company structure, as well as our creative efforts, are informed by an urge to create and share stories that stand out and stand up. Stories that stay standing because they are important and entertaining.
Our distribution service aggregates movies and drama series for our partners all around the Nordic countries and Italy, ensuring the best possible reach and impact across the world: both in terms of digital and theatrical distribution channels. We deliver directly to all the major platforms, ensuring that every story worth being told is being told to the largest possible audience. Our distribution strategy has made us the leading independent digital distributor in Scandinavia.
True Content Entertainment draws inspiration from the company United Artists, founded by talents Charlie Chaplin, D.W. Griffith, Mary Pickford, and Douglas Fairbanks in 1919.
And speaking about what we actually do and who we work with we are proud to announce that we work for the moment with talents as Kim Fupz Aakeson, Mads Brügger, Nikolaj Scherfig, Ivica Zubak, Jean Baptiste Delafon, Tony Grisoni, Bo Lidegaard, Karen Stokkendal Poulsen, Martin Garde Abildgaard and many others. We have more than 15 projects in development with financing from all around Europe. Some of them are major TV-series and feature films for a world market, while others are smaller and more local, but still as important and entertaining.

PRODUCTION
The Production Department
True Content Production (formerly Sweet Chili Fiction) is a newly established production company in the Nordics under the umbrella of True Content Entertainment. True Content Production is initiated by three very experienced executive producers and established from the basic believe in strong business alliances with the creatives.
We want to produce content for the international market as well as the local market. Feature films, tv-series, but also shorter formats and web-series, as long as they all tell important stories for the times we are in, and told by voices with something on heart and the urge to reach out to a big audience.
Within True Content Production we have created The Talent Alternative, where we unite with the storytellers, new as well as experienced, in partnerships where we develop, producer and co-own the IP. We consider it essential that talents themselves are an integral part of the entire process of creating and producing high-quality stories.
